Since 2015 Petra Kroupová has been working at the National Heritage Institute (NHI), Directorate General, Prague (CZ) Unit of Heritage with International Status, dealing with 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and its two protocols, monitoring of the World Heritage Sites and preparing of the Nomination Dossier of the Sites inscribed on the Tentative List.

She is member of:
– working group of the NHI for Climate Changes
– working group of the NHI for the creation of Crisis Plans
– steering group for the world heritage site in Holašovice
– national group for the implementation of international humanitarian law
– Czech Delegation during the meetings of Hague conventions (1954) and its two protocols in Paris.

During her studies, she attended the Course of the Heritage Care, organized by the National Heritage Institute 1954 Hague Convention and its 2 protocols (2016/2017), the Heritage Academy Summer School on Management of Unesco World Heritage Cultural Sites in Visegrad Countries, organized by the International Cultural Centre in Krakow and focused on management of sites inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List (2018). She attended, also, the Online Summer School (University of Studies in Turin), online course and workshop in cultural heritage crimes and emergencies (2021).
