Florian Meixner is Programme Specialist for World Heritage and Protection of Cultural Property at the Austrian Commission for UNESCO. Having studied History and History of Science in Graz (Austria) and Calgary (Canada) he is now active as an expert in the field of Cultural Heritage both on national and international level, e.g. as member of the Austrian Panel for the Protection of Cultural Property or as member of the Austrian delegation to the Sessions of the World Heritage Committee. Since 2022 he lectures Cultural Heritage and Human Rights at the University of Vienna/Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights.
