Chloé Campo – de Montauzon was born in France in 1974. She holds post-graduate degrees in Politics and Urban-planning and a Master of Business Administration.
Chloé became involved with World Heritage issues when she joined the Asia-Pacific Region Unit of the World Heritage Centre of UNESCO in 1998. Afterwards, she joined the planning Agency of Chinon, a small historic city of the Loire Valley, to work on the implementation of the management plan of Luang Prabang, the former royal capital of Laos (listed in 1996). She also contributed to the preparation of the nomination of the Loire Valley and was appointed technical counselor of the Director in 2002, then general secretary (2012-2016) of the management structure of this famous cultural landscape.
